Wicked Salon can help you prepare for any special event such as weddings, school reunions and family reunions.  Our staff is expert on large group preparation. 

We require as long a lead time as possible so that we can block out the time on our schedules.

They say every bride is beautiful on her wedding day, but we both know it doesn’t happen “by accident”...It takes planning and preparation.

Wicked Salon can help you prepare for your special day. Let us take away the stress and anxiety you’ve got about what the best hair style is for you. (We can help you choose the best style based on your gown, whether you’ll be wearing a veil or not, and your own personal style and look.

We can also do your makeup, so that you’re picture perfect.

We recommend that we set up several appointments for you before your big day, so you can try out -and choose - the style that makes you look as beautiful as you’ve always dreamt of.

And, as a part of our special wedding package, we can do the hair and make-up of every woman in your wedding party.


Here’s our Bridal Checklist, to help you prepare:

Cut out pictures of hairstyles you like, and plan on bringing them with you when you come for your first appointment

Because it can take some time to find the right style, wash your hair the night before
Your hairstyle should compliment your wedding dress - if possible, have someone take a photo of you in your dress and bring it with you...we also need to know if your wedding is going to be formal or informal, your colors, whether photos will be taken in the daylight or at night, etc.

Bring your veil or hat with you, or if you haven’t chose one yet, make sure you let your stylist know as soon as you have.

If you want a new color or cut, don’t wait until the day before your wedding - do it sooner rather than later - so you’ll have time to get used to it and also to prevent last minute nasty surprises.

After you’ve chosen the style for your wedding day, have it done that way and wear it for the day. (The last thing you want is to be stuck with a hairdo that slips, comes undone or is uncomfortable during your big day.)

What accessories are you going to be wearing? You can add beads, bangles or flowers to compliment your look and gown - but your stylist needs to know ahead of time what they are.  Best of all it makes a great outing for the group.

Note:  While individuals in your group are waiting they can visit the quaint shops in Historic Downtown Mocksville.
